Description
The opening hole at first sight looks simple enough but it demands your full concentration if you are to start well. The fairway takes you left so try and aim at the green to avoid the bunkers on the left. Long hitters can get home from the tee but the percentage shot is to play conservatively and rely on a good pitch to get your birdie.
Pro's tip
The fairway sloping right to left, a shot of around 180 yards will leave a short wedge onto green that slopes away from you. This will provide you with a nice gentle start.
